چکیده
Abstract: “Mofumbo” (Combretum leprosum Mart. (Combretaceae) is a neotropical species of wood, pharmacological, beekeeping and environmental importance. Thus, the objective was to evaluate biochemical physiological responses in C. seeds under different storage environments. The experiment carried out factorial (2 x 7), with two conditions (natural climate-controlled environments) seven periods (0; 60; 120; 180; 240; 300 360 days), four replications per treatment. At beginning at 60-day intervals, were analyzed for water content, potential (germination, germination speed index, root shoot lengths seedling dry mass) (neutral lipids, lipid peroxidation, total reducing sugars, free amino acids, starch). results indicated that storing “mofumbo” days reduced viability, being more pronounced after 180 days, regardless environment. stored natural environment resulting less degradation. After this period, reduction associated attack sugars on acids. it concluded must be up days.

Zooplankton responses during SEEDS
During the Subarctic Pacific Iron Experiment for the Ecosystem Dynamics Study (SEEDS), chlorophyll a concentration in the iron patch reached near maximum in 9 days (D9) after the iron fertilization and after that remained more or less constant. In spite of the stability of chlorophyll a, primary production was higher than 1.4–2.0 g C m d during D9–D13. As most of the carbon synthesized by phyto...
متن کاملPhysiological and biochemical changes during the loss of desiccation tolerance in germinating Adenanthera pavonina L. seeds.
We investigated the loss of desiccation tolerance (DT) in Adenanthera pavonina seeds during germination. Seeds were subjected to imbibition for 0, 24, 36, 48, 60 and 81 h, then dried to their initial moisture content (13%), rehydrated and evaluated for survival (resumption of growth and development of normal seedlings) and membrane system integrity (electrolyte leakage). Embryonic axes of seeds...
متن کاملEffects of NaCl on some physiological and biochemical responses in two cultivars of L. usitatissimum
Linum usitatissimum L. is one of the economically important oilseed crops and salt stress is one of the major environmental challenges affecting several physiological processes in plants. The present investigation was carried out to study the effects of NaCl on some physiological and biochemical responses in two cultivars of L. usitatissimum. Twenty-one-day-old-plants were exposed to salt stres...
متن کاملPhysiological and biochemical responses of Hypericum perforatum to salt stress and salicylic acid spraying
Salinity is one of the main obstacles to the successful production of agricultural products. Hormonal compounds such as salicylic acid (SA) as plant growth regulators can have different physiological and biochemical effects in plants under salt stress. In present research, the effects of different concentrations of sodium chloride (2, 6 and 10 dS/m) and foliar application of SA (0, 0.25 and ...
